After a delightful welcome into the grounds, you’ll step into a world of wonder inside this magnificent barn. High, vaulted ceilings create a beautiful sense of space, while bold and contrasting colours strike a sense of grandeur. At the heart, of course, is your wonderful dining table - a special central area where you can gather the group for mealtimes. While there’s a more casual breakfast bar alongside the kitchen if you’re feeling more relaxed. Animal patterns and natural textures and materials ground you, while the fantastically modern kitchen adds a touch of elegance. Retire to the cosy living room, complete with a log burner, for some entertainment or to simply laze and read a book. You’ll even find a pack of fuel here on your arrival so you can have a fuss-free start to your stay.
And completing this beautiful home are three gorgeous bedrooms. The master suite is delightfully set up to accommodate guests with total warmth and hospitality. At its heart is the grand king-size bed, each of its four posters in striking mahogany surrounding a luxurious world of comfort within, waiting to welcome you after each enjoyable day on the Norfolk coast. Adjoining this is an ensuite bathroom for your convenience, with a spacious shower, a his and hers sink and a delicate monochrome design. Additional rooms include a spacious twin room with two large, wooden bed, complete with an armchair, and a cosy single room. These rooms share access to a superb family bathroom with a lighter, soft beige design.
Perhaps the highlight if you’re looking for fun and games is this superb, huge barn with a pool table, table tennis, table football and even a huge version of checkers! There’s something for all ages to enjoy. And that’s before you’ve seen this beautiful garden. Even the most energetic kids are sure to be satisfied with a football pitch, tons of space for running around, and even a play area with swings and a slide! Surrounding you in this enchanting garden are mature trees providing plenty of shade and a few tables, too. So you can even take the chance to dine alfresco and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this unbeatable location!
Just a stone’s throw from the bustling town of Holt and even nearer to the breath-taking coastline of North Norfolk, a stay in Holt Country Barn puts you at the heart of some of England’s finest scenery.
Boasting an eclectic and charming blend of 18th century Georgian buildings hiding delightful courtyards and alleyways, nearby Holt is a stunning town home to art galleries, antique and book shops and delicious eateries!
And if you fancy going a little further afield, no matter where you venture to, you’ll always be met with either a woodland adventure park, a winding forest trail or for a day indoors, perhaps even an award-winning museum! And for hiking, look no further. Stretching from Holme-next-the-Sea all the way to Cromer, the 45-mile long Norfolk Coastal Path through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers some of the best birdwatching in the UK, a glimpse of the seals on Blakeney Point just five minutes away, and the earliest evidence of humans found outside The Great Rift Valley in Africa on the Deep History Coast! The path weaves itself through tidal creeks and salt marshes, shingle, luscious fields and enormous sandy beaches – and as Norfolk is a haven for wildlife and birds, you’ll have plenty to admire throughout!
And dotted along the horizon at all times are yachts and power-boats, while nearer to shore you’ll find surfers, kayakers, kite-surfers and so much more! While lining the beaches are hundreds of candy-coloured beach huts, dazzling promenades with candyfloss and fish and chips and of course, the romantic dunes with endless hidden spots for barbeques and family-fun. And what’s more - you’ll find tons of great local produce at the farmers’ markets and local shops as well as the many pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby, including fresh seafood and locally produced beer!
