With its beautiful views of Tivat Bay, Villa Kotorska is the perfect place from which to discover the Bay of Kotor region, and easily accessible from nearby Tivat Airport. This fully restored six-bedroom farmhouse can accommodate up to fifteen guests and offers a private pool and beautiful terrace.
There is a lot of outdoor space to enjoy at Villa Kotorska, with plenty of sun loungers around the large pool. A covered dining area and a large, stone barbecue provides the right ingredients for an evening enjoying dinner and drinks with friends. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a pool bar and fridge. The secure gardens are ideal for allowing children to play safely.
Villa Kotorska is just a five-minute drive from the beach and local amenities. A spacious and contemporary living area inside features a cosy lounge with comfy sofas and satellite television, and another dining space. There’s an impressively well-equipped kitchen too, with top-notch appliances including a large American-style fridge freezer and dishwasher, along with smaller items like an ice-cream maker and coffee machine.
The villa contains five en-suite bedrooms – three doubles and two twins – with air-conditioning and/or fans for extra comfort. There is capacity for three extra beds, and cots are provided free of charge if required. High ceilings and rustic stone walls add character to many of these spacious rooms.
The location is perfect for getting out and exploring this exceptionally beautiful region. Among recommended excursions are the Old Town of Kotor, which really stuns with its mountain backdrop and charming riverside setting. Beyond Kotor, the Lovcen National Park is a Montenegrin treasure, showcasing the country’s natural beauty to great effect.

The Bay of Kotor is one of the highlights of northern Montenegro – the meandering route around it will introduce you to no end of scenic stops. The town of Tivat is one of its most glamorous, home to a marina where those with the means moor their yachts. Take a boat trip yourself and you can visit the Blue Cave, a popular local attraction where snorkelling is an optional extra.
The fortified old town of Kotor also sits on the bay, enjoying a ruggedly handsome mountain backdrop. Here the water-sport of choice is canyoning on the River Skurda. Popular with visitors, climbing the walls of the Old Town is less adrenaline-fuelled but just as rewarding — the views from the top are absolutely breath-taking.
In the Old Town look out for the eye-catching St Tryphon’s Cathedral, plenty of churches and quite a few cats. The town is known for its much-loved street cats, and you can help keep them looked after by paying a visit to the town’s Cat Museum. Kotor’s old centre is equally good for doing nothing in particular and just surveying the scene from a pavement café or restaurant terrace. You’re likely to find some seafood on the menu – squid and octopus are big around here.
Not far from Kotor, the Lovcen National Park begs to be explored, and it’s well worth making the trip to do so. This mountainous area is another fine example of Montenegrin natural beauty.
